ACCOUNTANT
(Based in Kuala Lumpur)
Job Specification:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant is responsible for the day to day accounting duties and work efficiency of the department.
- Ensure compliance, maintenance and continuous improvement on all financial aspects.
- Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, statutory bodies, bankers, etc.
- Ensure timely preparation of all relevant financial reports.
- Provide sound financial advice for decision making, if required.
- Able to lead, coach and supervise subordinates in achieving the department’s objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting and/or MACPA/MIA/ACCA/ASCPA or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years related working experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good command in spoken and written English.
