ACCOUNTANT
(Selangor - SUBANG)

Responsibilities:

POSITION 1 (FINANCIAL OPERATIONS):

- Manages and supervises Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to deliver quality services to BlueScope country offices.
- Contributes to the transition of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions from BlueScope country offices to FSC.
- Ensures compliance with BlueScope policies, legal and statutory requirements.

POSITION 2 (TREASURY OPERATIONS):

- Manages and supervises Treasury and Cash Management Operations to deliver quality services to BlueScope country offices.
- Ensure efficient transition of Treasury & Cash Management operations from BlueScope country offices to FSC.
- Ensures compliance with BlueScope policies, local company legal and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

- Professional accountancy qualification or Degree in Accounting or Finance related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance area.
- Familiar with computerized accounting and multinational business environment.
- Good knowledge of current accounting standards and applications with internal control experience.
- Good understanding of financial accounting processes and systems.
- Possess strong financial analytical skills and leadership qualities.
- Good team player with ability to work under pressure.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Experienced in Shared Services environment is an added advantage
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
