We wish to invite competent and highly motivated Malaysian to join our team in Antara Steel Mills Sdn.Bhd.-Labuan F.T., a manufacturer and major supplier of the Hot Briquetted Iron for the following position:
Accounts Supervisor
(Labuan – Labuan F.T)
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Accounts Sectional Head, the incumbent will be responsible to direct and supervise a team of staff to ensure smooth operations of day-to-day activities of Accounts Payable Section.
- Checking on account payable accurual and payment, liaising with inventory personnel and suppliers for any discrepancy.
- Handle full set of accounts, conduct reconcilliation and preparation of monthly management/financial statements and statistical returns.
- Preparation of budget, forecast and variance analysis report.
- Handle financial planning and analysis, income tax computation and schedules, ad-hoc projects and other accounting-related tasks including liaising with auditors and tax agent.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess LCCI Diploma in Accounting/Certified Accounting Technician/partial ACCA or CIMA /Degree in Accounting.
- At least 5 years of working experience in audit firm or manufacturing company.
- Must be able to lead, work under minimum supervision and communicate with all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge on ERP Accounting System such as BPCS or Microsoft Dynamics AX will be added advantage.
- Positive working attitude with pleasant personality and good interpersonal skill.
- Good appreciation of internal control system.
- Good command of written and spoken English. Other languages will be added advantage.
