Team Member, Network & Operations Audit
Responsibilities:
* Assist Team Leader, Section Head and Head of Department in the preparation of the audit annual plans to meet stakeholders expectations for Board Audit Committee’s approval.
* Assists in continuously updating all the audit programs using appropriate risk-base methodology for the Section.
* Ensure the effective execution of the Thematic Audit based on high risk process or areas mentioned in the approved annual audit plan.
* Ensure proper and timely submission of all audit reports to Management Committee and Board Audit Committee.
* Assist in follow-up on unresolved audit recommendations for Audit Resolution Management Committee (”ARMC”) and Board Audit Committee deliberation once in two months or as and when required by the Committee.
* Ensure continuous improvement in audit operations and activities by exploring a more effective and efficient way to plan, execute and monitor the audit operations.
* Ensure adequate monitoring of activities and a flow of two-way communication within the department.
* Assist Team Leader, Section Head and Head of Department in providing effective support to the Board Audit Committee.
* Conduct Thematic Audit analysis on the existing key processes and provides recommendation to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and economy of the processes.
* Provide training or briefing to other members of the team in the section (structured or ad hoc) for development of the section.
* Develop and maintain effective work relationship and liaison with the other departments, regulatory bodies, and other government agencies.
Requirements:
* Appropriate Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Equipped with related knowledge and with other qualified professional qualification such as CIA/CISA/ACCA/CIMA/CCP will be added advantage.
* Minimum 1 year of working experience and strong product knowledge in banking operations particularly in pawn broking product (Ar Rahnu).
* Knowledge in auditing, accounting, banking, risk management, BNM and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
* Good command of English with strong analytical skills and ability to develop reporting issues from a risk perspective and recommend improvements.
* Willing to travel to outstations for auditing purposes whenever required by the Bank.
* Able to work with minimum supervision and under pressure to meet deadlines.
