Software Design
TV receivers are undergoing a radical change from being a stand alone passive device to being a fully connected device. Sony is at the fore front of Connected TV Hybrid Technologies and its TV R&D Centre in the Klang Valley is expanding to meet this challenge. The Connected TV group is looking for Experienced Software Developers with Web and Embedded software development experience.

a. Software Design Engineer

Job Description :

Able to independently research and develop new ideas to extend current technologies.
The candidate will be responsible for leading a small young team of software developers in developing both Client and Server side software development for R&D purposes.
The candidate will be required to provide technical support to this team which will have little or no experience in developing web applications.
Will be required to project manage both the requirements as well as the progress of the development team.
Deploy and manage servers used for video streaming.

b. C++/Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description :

The candidate will be responsible for extending existing software on an embedded system for prototyping purposes.
Will be required to reverse engineer poorly documented code.

Job Requirements :

Embedded system experience will be an added advantage.
Web application development will be an added advantage.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Product Design Engineer

Job Description :

Involve in the product development life cycle from concept to product introduction
Design, measure, diagnose and solve problems of power supply system during design phase
Design, measure, diagnose and solve problems of EMC & EMI during design phase
Create schematic drawings, bill of material & documentation
Perform performance and reliability testing on engineering prototypes
Will work with engineers in other disciplines to produce the final products

Requirement :

Degree preferably Electrical or Electronics Engineering & related experiences
Knowledge in analog & digital circuits
Knowledge in circuit and system design
Knowledge in digital video and audio
