Engineer, Supplier Quality

Responsibilities :

- To work on the supplier development and identify initial list of suppliers and networking of supplier, rank suppliers and short list suppliers
- To ensure availability and completeness of product and test documentation for CMO products
- To conduct timely audit and qualification on sub-con and qualified sub-con by communicating requirements to suppliers, site audits and coordinating parts sampling processes
- To learn and ensure sub-con fully understand the BESI parts requirements.
- To set plans and conduct improvement and training on sub-con
- To ensure incoming QC, in process QC and outgoing QC are carried out effectively by involving in the parts development namely in new project start up (First Article Inspection).
- To investigate the root causes for all external rejects and ensure effective countermeasures are in place and identify areas for improvement.
- To liaison with internal customers when there are dispute in quality
- To continue by learning the functionality and critical requirement of new product
- To perform other job as and when assigned by the TQM Manager

Requirements :

- Minimum Degree in mechanical/electro-mechanical engineering with 3 years working experience.

Technical Competencies Requirements :

- Capability in using CMM, profile projector, measuring scope, microscope and caliper.
- Capability in various measurement methods.
- Capability in all internal calibration and using of Gagetrak 5 database.
- Using of AutoCAD
- Good knowledge in system automation equipment concept
- Understanding of machining process.

Technician, QC

Responsibilities :

- Provide technical solution to quality reject issues in the course of inspection/measurement
- Provide technical inspection and measurement training to peers, personnel from other departments, subcontractor
- Liaise with the production supervisors on priority for items to be inspected
- Liaise with the Engineering, Assembly and other relevant department/section to resolve quality issues
- Inspect incoming, in-process and outgoing fabricated parts
- Ensure that all items meet the specifications, where non-compliance is identified and recorded
- Notify and hold discussion on non-compliance with Engineers, Supervisors, Section Head, Toolshop
- Measure and generate report for incoming leadframe, dambar cut and final product (IC)
- Assist in maintenance of measuring equipment including registration, calibration and GRR study.
- Maintain proper filing of QC measurement reports for both parts and product
- Ensure compliance of QC inspection activities to documental company ISO 9001 procedures
- To perform any other tasks as and when assigned to

Requirements :

- Certificate in general machining or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1 year related working experiences

Techinical Competencies Requirements :

- Understanding of basic statistical control
- Capable to perform general mold and dies QC inspection with standard mechanical measuring equipment such as CMM, Profile Projector, etc..
