Cytec Industries Inc is a US-based vertically integrated industrial chemical company which focuses on value-added specialty products. The Company develops, manufactures and markets specialty chemicals, specialty materials and building block chemicals serving a broad group of end users.

Cytec Industries Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Cytec group is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the following position at Petaling Jaya.

Help Desk Analyst
(Contract – 1 year)
(Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities:

- Provides first level support to Cytec end users on a variety of issues.
- Responds to telephone calls and email requests for technical support in a professional and courteous manner.
- Identifies, documents, researches, troubleshoots and escalates issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Follows documented Help Desk procedures
- Maintains ownership of issues until escalated or resolved
- Maintains current knowledge of internal Help Desk documentation and tools
- Maintains current knowledge of Cytec systems and applications.
- Makes use of approved documentation and troubleshooting tools
- Provides feedback to Team Leaders for process improvements

Requirements:
- Certificate / Diploma / Degree in IT related discipline.
- Those with exposure in Helpdesk role would have an added advantage
- Strong communication and writing skills (in English)
- Excellent customer focus
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software systems
1. Knowledge of latest Windows Operating systems (Windows XP)
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
3. Basic knowledge of Network operating systems. (Microsoft , Novell)
4. Basic knowledge of hardware – PC’s, Laptop, Printers.
5. Knowledgeof ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library)
