(Johor)

Responsibilities:

- Strong understanding & wide knowledge of Western Cuisines
- Able to do modern presentation
- Responsible for the quality of the food prepared.
- Determines on the basis of expected volume of business, quantity of the food prepared.
- Skills in food preparation, presentation, costing and menu planning
- Undertake to develop food promotions to enhance sales
- Work closely with the Restaurant Managers on menu planning.
- Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene and safety of the kitchen.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Hotel & Catering Management or Food Preparation.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience as a Western Chef.
- Food & Beverage knowledge with ability to plan menus and recipes
- Ability to exercise own discretion and make sound decisions
- Self motivated and able to work under pressure
- Teamplayer with good interpersonal and leadership skills

Human Resources Manager
(Johor)

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the general spectrum of HR and administration functions which encompass recruitment & selection, manpower planning,  employee relations, staff appraisal, leave administration, employee orientation, training & disciplinary management.
- Ensuring that HR policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain proper records related to Human Resource and administration activities.
- Review, develop and administer human resources policies and procedures to be in line with the group’s business goal.
- Undertake any ad-hoc assignment assigned by the Management as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws.
- Responsible for managing the training needs for employees including sourcing of Training providers according to Training Plan, administering HRDF claims, collating the training evaluation to ensure effectiveness of training.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
- Able to work in challenging & fast paced environment.
- Must be competent in all areas of human resource functions, which includes knowledge of the Employment Act and Malaysian Labour Laws.
- Dynamic and ability to foster positive change to drive performance.
