Sales Manager
(Ipoh, Perak)

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for establishing, maintaining and servicing contacts with representatives of corporations, travel trade, business, commercial and social groups, to solicit and secure business for The Banjaran Hotspring & Retreat.
- Maintain the leading position in the market by implementing a series of creative and effective marketing campaigns.
- Produce all the written literature and ensure that it is in line with the corporate guidelines which convey high professional standards to the targeted audience.
- Serve as an ambassador to reinforce the company’s image largely amongst the media, the customers, the local community and the general public.
- Negotiate with media owners, external parties, to get the best possible rates, deals and discounts for the Resort.
- Monitor key competition activities and assess market situation/development.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Hospitality industry and in similar position is required.
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal communication skills and analytical ability.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Strategic and creative thinking is a key requirement.
- Can work under pressure with a positive mindset.

Executive Housekeeper
(Ipoh, Perak)

Responsibilities:

- Oversees and directs all areas of the Housekeeping department, develops and implements operational strategies and policies for efficient operation of the department and adherence to Quality Service Standard.
- Provide professional customer service, assist with guest problem resolution and ensure satisfaction.
- Conducts regular inspections of Villas, Function Rooms, Public Area and other areas in the hotel and ensures highest standard of cleanliness and upkeep of facilities.
- Ensure that guest services, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.

Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
- At least 4 years of working experience as Executive Housekeeper preferably in Resort set up.
- Comprehensive knowledge of housekeeping operational procedures
- An eye for details, quality driven and drives improvement initiatives.
- Must have good communication skills and computer literate.
- Possess good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
- A good team player.
