I T / E-Commerce / Banquet Sales Admin / HR / Payroll Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Candidates are required to support the IT requirement of all software programmes and hardware equipment for IT. Attends to guests on internet connection and usage of computers from time to time and when necessary.
- For others, to do typing, faxing, filing and operates modern office equipment.
- Attends to telephone calls answering with a cheerful voice using courtesy phrases at all times.
- Liaises with external parties for room inspections for the Banquet Sales Admin position and candidates seeking for jobs for the HR / Payroll Assistant position liaises with candidates and assists to prepare part of payroll.
- For E-Commerce, liaises with internet travel agents and portals on room rate and reservations enquiries.

Requirements:

- Candidates must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/”O” Level and a Diploma in a related field will be an added advantage.
- At least 1 to 2 years’ of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably candidates with experience in the hospitality industry in their I T Department for I T Assistant, Front Office or Sales Department for E-Commerce Assistant, Banquet Sales Department for the Banquet Sales Admin Assistant position and HR and / or Payroll Section for the HR / Payroll Assistant position.
- Ability to type, fax and operate office equipment is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package including Power Point is required. For I T must have basic IT knowledge and working knowledge of common software programmes.
- Working knowledge in replying e-mails and drafting simple correspondence is required.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
- Candidates must have a pleasant disposiiton with good working attitude.
