Responsibilities:
To assist Audit and Control Department (ACD) to determine the Bank’s operating units are in compliance with the established policies, standard operating procedures, applicable laws and regulations
To review the Business Unit/Departments/Branches operations to ascertain whether results are consistent with the objectives and goals
To review the effectiveness of risk management and internal control systems implemented by management as well as the adequacy of management action towards resolving issues and findings highlighted
To conduct investigation audits in situations where allegation of misconduct, fraud, abuse or conflict of interest arise
To participate in system developments projects undertaken by the Bank; review new systems, systems updates and modifications before, during and after the development stages
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or Professional Certificate in Accountancy/Business Administration/Information Technology
Minimum 2 – 5 years experience in Internal Auditing of Financial Institutions
Good report writing skill, mature with good interpersonal skill and well versed with BNM Guidelines on Internal Audit Function of Financial Institution
Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful candidates.
