Red Planet Hotels Limited (RPHL) is a regional hotel investment company focused on Asia’s emerging markets. RPHL is developing a portfolio of budget hotels in Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Bangladesh. The company is an asset owning company that operates its own hotels under a franchise agreement from Tunehotels.com. We build shareholder value through Greenfield development as well as acquiring existing buildings, and developing these into branded budgeted hotels.

Construction Manager
(National Capital Reg - Manila, Angeles City)

Summary :

Reporting to the Country Manager, the successful candidate shall be Construction Manager base on each hotel site, responsible for the effective roll-out/ delivery of budget hotel, encompassing site possession through to the handover for hotel operations. This position will be base full time on the construction site. Initially, with support from head office, managing the locally appointed design consultant team, the approvals process, responsible for the delivery of the hotel, reporting progress to the Country Manager and taking all necessary steps to ensure that the company’s plans as well a day-to-day plan are achieved. The position will be based in Philippines for the duration of the project(s).

Requirements:

- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, or any related field is required
- Experienced in design, development and construction
- Be self-motivated and a strong team player with an ability to work under pressure, yet able to work independently when required
- Development and/or project management experience in Philippines
- Experienced in working with cross cultural teams would be an advantage
- Proficiency in English and computer literate in the usual construction related software is essential
- Proficiency in Tagalog
- Strong interpersonal and management skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Able to travel overseas if require
