Job Vacancy in Kuala Lumpur as Sales in Vector InfoTech

Vector InfoTech is a Data Communication company, we specialize in Fiber Optics, Industrial Data Communication and Field bus products. In line with our expansion, we seek dedicated, qualified and committed candidates for the following vacancies, 5 days working:

(3 Vacancies – Explosion Proof Protection Products, Industrial Networks & Fibertek Fiber Optic Cable & Data-Comm Cable - SALES)

(Location: Kuala Lumpur – Jalan Loke Yew)

Key Responsibilities:

- Call on the targeted companies in Malaysia
- Develop account plans and strategies for the targeted companies
- Identify all active projects and maintain a project list
- Develop strategies/plans to go after each project, including:
o Calling on the key personnel (Project Manager, Materials Manager, Project Procurement Manager, Buyer, Lead Electrical Design Engineer, Lead Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineers, etc.)
o Obtaining and analyzing appropriate products specifications and the Approved Manufactures List in order to identify and develop supplier strategies with key manufacturers for the project
o Making sales calls/presentations to sell Vector’s value and capabilities for the project
o Ensuring that Vector is placed on the Approved Bidder’s list for all projects
o Developing and executing a bid strategy for each project that fits the requirements of the project and ensures a high probability of success in winning the project

- Work to develop key relationships with the executive management of the individual disciplines within each company, including General Manager, Dir/Mgr of Procurement, Dir/Manager of Material Management, Dir of Electrical Engineering, Dir Of Control Systems Engineering, Etc.

Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical/Computer IT Engineering or equivalent qualifications
- At least 3 years of demonstrated, successful sales experience selling into major industrial market place, with preference into the EPC/Oil, Gas, Petrochemical industries
- Experience in the industrial Automation industry, Oil and Gas industry will be an added advantage
- Candidates with existing contacts or established customer base will have added advantage
- Excellent communications, presentation & interpersonal skills
- Experienced in developing close relationships with key decision making personnel
- Experienced in developing/executing account planning/account strategies
- Possess presentation skills in conducting professional presentations in front of large numbers of key decision makers
- Ability to communicate via professional writing skills
- Ability to communicate/coordinate at all levels within the organization (executive management, sales management, sales, sales support, operations, marketing procurement, etc) in order to execute successful project management
- Ability to work with customers on resolution of technical issues
- Effective project and time management skills
- Must work well with team environment
- Self-motivated, willing to learn, result-oriented, independent with good attitude
- Possesses go-getter attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic industry
- Possess own transport & valid driving licence
