Associate Professors / Senior Lecturers / Lecturers - Psychology
Requirements:
• Bachelor and / or Masters degree, majoring in Psychology
• PhD degree in Clinical, Child, Educational or Developmental Psychology
• Preferable with practical experience and has interest in children’s intervention and research
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient and good natured
Associate Professors / Senior Lecturers / Lecturers - Accounting / Finance
Requirements:
• Masters degree from a reputable university in related field. Preference will be given to PhD Holders. Professional qualification would be an advantage.
• Preferably with at least 2 years teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Industry experience would be an advantage. (Applicants with limited experience but possess outstanding academic qualifications may be considered).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
• Open minded, committed and proactive.
• Possess a passion for teaching and research.
Senior Lecturers / Lecturers - Computer Science/Software Engineering & Information System
Requirements:
• Minimum Doctoral degree in relevant fields. Professional qualification would be an advantage.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of teaching experience. Industry experience would be an advantage. (Applicants with limited experience but possess outstanding academic qualifications may be considered).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).

Lecturers - Events, Hospitality & Tourism
Requirements:
• Minimum Master degree in related field
• At least 3 years of related work experience. Those who possess teaching experience would be an added advantage
• IT literate with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess good knowledge of academic administration & good organisational skills
• Possess a passion for teaching and is caring towards young adults
• Positive attitude towards work and people
Lecturers - Fine Art/Interior Design
Requirements:
• Masters degree in Art or Design (majoring in Digital Art or Interior Design). Applicants with Bachelor degree but possess extensive industrial working experience may be considered.
• 3 years of industrial working experience and/or 2 years of teaching experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Interior or Fine Art computer applications.
• Open minded, committed and proactive.
• Possess a passion for teaching and caring towards young adults.
Public Health Clinical Instructor
Requirements:
• Possess Annual Practicing License. Preference will be given to candidates with Post Basic Public Health certificate
• A registered nurse with at least 3 years of clinical experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess a passion for teaching and research
• Patient and caring
• Willing to do shift work and travel as an when is required
Manager - Finance (Operations)
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations and management of the Financial Services Counters to ensure a high level of service to customers at all times, while ensuring compliance with all controls, regulatory requirements and budget limits
• Oversee daily collections, credit control and refund processes
• Attend to customer needs that may arise by working with relevant internal and external parties
• Manage and supervise finance related projects
• Champion and oversee the simplification/streamlining/re-engineering of business processes, policies and procedures to improvement efficiency and internal controls
Requirements:
• Possess a Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in a managerial role in services industries
• Able to work under pressure and abide by deadlines with strong sense of responsibilities
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to lead the finance team and build strong relationship with the senior management
• A self-starter with strong analytical skills, highly motivated, innovative and result oriented
• Experience in Education Management System (EMS), ACCPAC and project management will be added advantage
Head - Quality Assurance
Responsibilities:
• Maintaining an overview of national and UK quality assurance requirements and ensuring that internal processes meet these requirements.
• Updating documentation on academic policies and procedures relating to Sunway University College awards.
• Providing support and guidance on interpretation of academic policies and regulations.
• Advising the academic schools and departments in the preparation of documents for approval and accreditation of home-grown programmes.
• Enhancing continual quality improvement through programme monitoring including coordinating internal quality audits and reporting.
• Managing external examiner appointments and receiving their annual reports.
• Providing leadership, supervision and training to Quality Assurance Executives in the department.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in an executive level position. Experience in either education or quality assurance will be preferred.
• Competency in performing statistical analysis and reporting.
• Able to facilitate work teams carrying out improvement projects.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Meticulous, systematic, strong sense of integrity and responsibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Head - Acquisitions (Library)
Responsibilities:
* Manage the Acquisitions Division which acquires library materials to support the academic programmes of Sunway University College.
* Manage and monitor the commitment and expenditure of the library materials budget, by maintaining an online database of the library’s orders, receipts and claims.
* Design, coordinate and monitor the workflow as well as supervise the staff of the Acquisitions Division.
* Liaise with internal as well as external parties to ensure library materials are acquired efficiently and on a timely basis.
* Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001.
* Undertake duty at the Reference Help Desk and assist in user education programmes.
* Undertake night duty, public holiday duty and other extended hour duties as and when required.
Requirements:
* Basic degree (preferably in a field other than Librarianship).
* Postgraduate professional library qualification.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a library environment. Preference will be given to those who have experience in acquisitions work using automated library systems.
* Ability in planning delivery services as well as managing and motivating a team of staff.
* Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of the English language.
* Familiar with data input and analysis for management reporting purposes.
* Able to work independently and work well under pressure to meet divisional targets.
Assistant Librarian
Responsibilities:
* Assist Head of Division to manage the Circulation Division in the Library.
* Monitoring user related activities including maintenance of the suspension and Financial Holds List, collection of fines and replacement cost of lost items.
* Monitor the orderliness of book stacks by ensuring that stack reading are carried out and shelf guides are accurate.
* Supervise staff in the Circulation Division.
* Assist the Head in data analysis and reporting for management.
* Conduct internal audits to verify the effective implementation of the Library’s Quality Management System.
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Librarianship or IT.
* Minimum 1 year of working experience.
* Experience in supervisory position would be an advantage.
* Must be computer literate.
* Cheerful and friendly disposition, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
* A self-starter with qualities of a team player yet is able to work independently.
* Willing to undertake night duty, Sunday, public holidays and extended hour duty as required.
Executive - Digital Media
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be based in Public Relations department and his/her key responsibilities are in the areas of digital and social media which include:
• Developing, creating, updating and uploading the content of Sunway University College website, microsites and other social media.
• Working closely with IT personnels, heads of programmes and other relevant officers to determine functionality, process flow, UI design and layout of digital media.
• Integrating online advertising campaigns with website, microsites and other social media
Requirements:
• 2 - 3 years of web development experience using a variety of markup and scripting languages, including XHTML and CSS.
• At least 1 year experience working with graphic software such as Macromedia Flash, Corel, Illustrator and/or Photoshop
• Able to translate business requirements into user interface prototypes and process flows
• Able to analyse web trends
• Excellent designing, communication, analytical and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and in support of both technical and non-technical work colleagues
• Knowledge of web standards, browsers and protocols
• Knowledge of AJAX and PHP skills will be an added advantage
