Sabah Forest Industries Sdn Bhd (SFI) now partnering with Ballarpur Industries Limited, a world class paper manufacture, is set to carry out expansion projects at Pulp & Paper Mill and Plantations in SABAH, Malaysia.
We seek result oriented people, team players with high integrity and flexibility for the following position:
Medical Officer
Sabah – Sipitang
Responsibilities:
* Recommends medical and health policies, determines need for medical facilities and equipment and controls cost of medical services.
* Conducts or supervises pre-employment and periodic physical examinations, medical check-up and surveillance.
* Provides outpatient treatment.
* Refers complicated case to hospital and to specialist.
* Operates a travelling clinic, 24 hour ambulance service and emergency response service.
* Promotes health and physical well being of employees through appropriate activities, including first aid and health education (counseling).
* Cooperates with local community or national medical groups and health agencies.
* Provides or arranges for medical and surgical care in industrial accident or disease cases and recommends action in prolonged medical cases.
* Oversees workers’ compensation cases, and may testify in hearings, law suits and insurance investigations arising out of industrial accident and injury cases.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Medicine or equivalent.
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Sipitang.
* Preferably Managers specializing in Healthcare – Doctor/Diagnosis or equivalent.
