Philippines Internship/Job Training Program 2010 in Del Monte Philippines

Del Monte Philippines, a leader in the production, marketing and distribution of premium-branded food and beverage products, is pleased to announce its search for 2010 Summer Interns for Finance, Marketing, Sales, Human Resource Management, Research & Development and Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations.

Over the eight-week internship period, the chosen summer interns will each be tasked with the completion of a business project with emphasis on their chosen function. They will be individually mentored and will work with other key people in the company as they pursue their assigned projects to completion.  Typical assignments include:

* Finance: projects in the areas of business process review, product cost analysis, business development finance including new product or project feasibility, and the financial assessment of specific sales and marketing initiatives
* Marketing: hands-on experience in the areas of marketing plan development and execution, including advertising, events management, merchandising programs, trade activations, and research, for both existing and new products
* Sales: analysis, planning and implementation of sales initiatives, sales strategies for specific customers or customer groups, and projects to expand distribution reach
* Human Resource Management: analysis and/or execution of initiatives in the areas of recruitment, training, performance & development planning and organizational change management
* Research & Development: feasibility assessment and technical evaluation of proposed new product introductions or manufacturing process changes
* Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations: projects in the areas of production operations review, capacity planning, inventory management, lean implementation  and distribution process optimization

Candidates for Del Monte summer interns must have exceptional academic and extra-curricular credentials, and be undergraduates in related university degree programs. To ensure complete focus on their assigned project, they must not have any prescribed academic loads or other commitments for the summer term.
