Project Engineer

(Based in Puchong, Selangor – Bandar Puteri)

Responsibilities:

- To provide pre-sales support which consists of the followings:
1. Requirement studies, site survey, information gathering.
2. Preparations of proposal on technical section based on the requirements and objectives given.
3. Presentation of proposal.
- To be responsible in the project management process for sizable & more sophisticated computer network projects, namely:
1. Project Planning
2. Project Coordinating
3. Project Commissioning
4. Project Implementation
5. Training for customer (if required)
6. Preparation of project documentation.
- To travel and stay at outstation for pre-sales and post-sales supports as stated in 1 & 2 if needs arise.
- To be responsible in upgrading your knowledge and skill time to time by means of attending seminars, workshops, courses sponsored by the Alphamatic or on your own.
- To provide second level support to Network Systems & Customer Support Engineer.
- To take on after-office hour standby assignments for contract customers at a rotational basis in which monthly standby allowance will be paid accordingly.
- Experience in implementing Project which involves Microsoft Active Directory Server, Exchange (Email) Server, Cisco Layer 2/3 Switch, router, Firewall & VPN etc.
- To manage and implement simple network project comprises of server & Windows OS, tape backup drive, UPS, network switch, antivirus software etc.

Requirements:

- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Electronic / Electrical major in Data Communication or Computer Engineering.
- Must possess industrial certification such as MCSE or/and CCNE/CCNP.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in providing pre-sales support and project management in System Integration (SI) business.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Puchong - Bandar Puteri.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Able to work long hours if requested.
- Preferably Chinese speaking candidates.
