Reinsurance Manager
( Makati City)

Responsibilities:

- Assess applications for reinsurance cover and decide acceptance and risk-sharing with another reinsurer
- Coordinate with brokers and other insurance companies regarding specific policy terms and conditions based on the company’s requirements
- Carry out, supervise and improve the outward and inward reinsurance process of the company in line with its guidelines and policies
- Review and update the company’s reinsurance policies, reinsurance treaties and cover and slip notes
- Participate in treaty negotiations by drafting addenda and endorsements to existing treaties
- Manage negotiations of reinsurance treaty conditions
- Maintain a repository of all policies underwritten
- Keep abreast of all updates on non-life resinsurance businesss
- Manage workload allocation to staff members in terms of volume, competence and experience
- Take part in the development of business plans and monitor progress on a regular basis

Requirements:
- Above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other applications using spreadsheets
- Above average interpersonal and communication skills
- Good reinsurance market rapport
- Working knowledge in all lines of non-life insurance
- Good math and computer aptitude
- Very good analytrical and organizational skills
