Occupational Therapist
Responsibilities:
- To provide an efficient and effective occupational therapy services to both inpatient and outpatient.
- To provide evaluation, coordination and implementation of occupational therapy in order to maximize each patients’ functional ability.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in assessment and retraining of activities of daily living for patients with Neurological impairments
- Preferably with experience in assessment and management of cognitive/perceptual impairments
- Experience in performing home/community assessment
- Able to co-ordinate discharge planning
- Preferably with experience in planning remedial activities and hand splinting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physiotherapist
Responsibilities:
- To provide evaluation, coordination and implementation of Physiotherapy to patients in order to maximize each patients’ functional ability.
- To work closely with Doctors, Nurses, and other NMSC staff.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kuching,Sarawak,Malaysia.
- Experience in assessing and managing musculoskeletal impairment and Neurological Rehabilitation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pharmacist
Responsibilities:
- To work closely with Chief Pharmacist and Dispensers to provide comprehensive and consistent Pharmacy Services.
- To supervise day to day running of Inpatient, Outpatient, Ward and Oncology Pharmacy.
- To ensure smooth and efficient operations and provide quality services to both internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution and Registered with Pharmacy Board
- (For Non Malaysian applicants) Must possess Doctorate (PhD) in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Instituion and registrable with Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kuching,Sarawak,Malaysia.
- Willing to work odd-hours and on shift.
Staff Nurse
Responsibilities:
- To work closely with Staff Nurses, Medical Assistants, Community Nurses, Assistant Nurses, student Nurses, Consultants, RMO, allied health staffs and all other staff in NMSC.
- To meet and facilitate the providence of needs to assist the patient to recover from disease or diseases or to maintain an acceptance quality of life.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- Post-Basic Certificate in Renal Nursing, Midwifery, ICU, CCU, Operating Room, Paediatric Care will be an added advantage
- Demonstrate clinical nursing competency
- Highly motivated, flexible and self directed individual
- Current BLS/ACLS preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
Resident Medical Officer
Responsibilities:
- To maintain a close liaison with Consultants to ensure the highest standard of Medical Care to patients at all times.
- To carry out staff health medical examination as required by the management.
- To arrange necessary requirements and information for inter-hospital patients transfer.
- To work closelywith Consultants, A&EManager, Medical Assistants, Staff Nurses, SENs, Clinic Assistants and other allied health care team members from other department as required.
Requirements:
- Fully registered medical practitioner in Malaysia with valid APC
- Possess MD/MBBS from a recognized University or Institution.
- At least 5 years of working experience
- Certificate in Occupational Health and general practise will be an added advantage
Senior Staff Nurse
Responsibilities:
- To assist Nursing Officer in overall management of the assigned wards. This also includes development, management of staff, capital & operational budget.
- Acts as shift supervisor to co-ordinate nursing and others hospital services.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Nursing experiences
- Post basic Certificate in Renal Nursing, Midwifery, ICU, CCU, Operating Room, Paediatric will be an added advantage
- Demonstrate clinical nursing competency
- Highly motivated, flexible and self-directed individual
- Current BLS / ACLS is preferred
- Good interpersonal skill
Nursing Officer (ICU & CCU/ Medical Surgical / Maternity Ward)
Responsibilities:
- Works in collegial manner with RMO / Consultants and other Health Care Professional.
- To maintain 24 hours responsibility and are accountable for supervision of a specific ward and the nursing staff assigned to that area.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing is preferred
- Possessed Post Basic in ICU / CCU / Midwifery or other Post Basic
- Minimum 3 years working experiences as Nursing Sister in ICU / CCU / Maternity / Medical Surgical Nursing
- Demonstrate leadership, management skills and knowledge in quality improvement activities.
- Current BLS / ACLS is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
