Administrative Executive, Research - School of Engineering
(Selangor - Bandar Sunway)

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be reporting to the Associate Director, MUARC Malaysia and School Research & Development Manager and will be located in the School Research Office. The appointee will be responsible for providing an intergrated administrative service for the research staff in the School of Engineering and MUARC Malaysia on research-related matters. In addtional, apointee will be responsible for providing administrative support through the dissemination of accurate and timely information to HRD students from application to graduation.

Requirements:

Essential

- A degree with relevant experience, or extensive experience and broad knowledge in and advertisement role, or an equivalent, alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.

- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively work with people from collaborative and funding organizations.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently an as well as part of team.

- Demonstrated skills in time management, setting priorities, planning and organizing own work in oder to meet deadlines.

- Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to deliver creative solutions

Desirable

Experience in or an understanding of the higher education sector or experience in managing research teams and HDR programs.
